The Farmers Arms
http://www.thefarmersarms.com
Located in the Brecon Beacons National Park, just on the edge of the Black Mountains, this tiny hamlet stands tucked away in a typically quiet valley of great natural beauty. The Farmers Arms is an increasingly popular inn offering a warm welcome, plenty of good food and comfortable country bedrooms. Inside the emphasis is on traditional charm. The building dates back to the 18th century and the owners have been keen to ensure that it does not fall foul of unsympathetic modern conversions.

Drovers Arms
http://www.drovers-arms.co.uk
The Drovers Arms, Howey, is a stylish red brick, Victorian building on an original Drovers route. We have been successfully running the Drovers Arms since 1987. We use welsh produce wherever possible and, with few exceptions, we make every dish ourselves. We offer, in our non-smoking dining room, dishes such as Welsh oak smoked salmon, Brecon Venison, Pembrokeshire Beef Steak, Welsh Lamb and pork, vegetarian options and fresh fish on Weekends.

The Usk Inn
http://www.uskinn.co.uk
The Usk was established in the 1840s at the time of the Brecon to Merthyr Railway. It has an enviable position on the edge of the village, opposite the former railway station and yard. Imagine if you can, how the patrons of the Inn would have felt when the Wild Run of 1878 spilled the Locomotive Hercules onto Station Road! The Brecon to Monmouthshire canal runs along the 300 ft contour, through the centre of the village, about a quarter of a mile from the Inn, in some instances at roof level!

The Castle Inn

This country inn, named after the nearby ancient fortress of Castell Dinas, lies at the top of an unspoilt valley within the Brecon Beacons National Park, Wales. It has its own spring water drinking supply and has been CAMRA recommended for the last 10 years.

It also hosts the World Tippit Championships each autumn. Two holiday cottages are also offered, one sleeping 5 next to the pub and one sleeping 10 close by.
